The E-Motions for E-Meetings application will allow organizations to vote on motions when using an online meeting platform such as ZOOM. It came about to meet the needs of a particular club where a membership had only one vote, but might have 2 or more members with-in the membership. It sounds a bit confusing, unless you look at it like this. A membership in the club consists of 2 partners. They attend a meeting and need to vote on a motion. They only have one vote, but if both raise their hand; their membership could actually be counted twice.
The application is not too difficult to use, but it does require a “HOST” to manage things during the online meeting. This host needs some time to get up to speed.
Features include:
* Both small and large meetings supported
* Unique voter codes for each membership
* Codes are only counted once per motion, no matter which partner uses it
* Motions are opened and closed by the host
* Host can share the results onscreen (screen sharing required)
* Host can provide reports to the organization, after the meeting is 'closed'
